Data held on this VPS

Akeno AI stores your username, password hash, profile, session records, characters, chats, personas, images, reports and approximate AI usage. Email is not required. Chats are private to your account. Administrators control the server and can access its data for operation and abuse response.

AI providers

When you request a reply, the selected provider receives the current character context, relevant lore, persona, memory and selected recent conversation. Never send sensitive personal information. Provider retention and processing depend on the chosen provider’s current terms. [Owner: list enabled providers, agreements, locations, transfer safeguards and lawful bases.]

Sessions and retention

An essential HttpOnly session cookie expires after 14 days. Language and character editor drafts are saved locally on your device. No advertising or paid analytics are used. Accounts and conversations remain until deleted; operational quota records expire through maintenance. Local backups are restricted to the server administrator and retained for 7 days by the supplied backup script. Automatic scheduled backups are not enabled by default.

Your choices

You can export your data, hide your profile, delete chats and delete your account in settings. Deleted data may remain in existing backups until those snapshots expire. [Owner: supply controller contact, rights procedures, complaint authority and complete retention details.]
